About Us
The start of the HASpod story goes back over 10 years, when we began providing health, safety, and CDM services on projects across the UK. To meet the growing demand for quick and easy access to health and safety content we developed online services our customers could access, wherever, and whenever they needed them.
We are passionate about improving safety standards through innovation. Our mission is to put safety in everything, by delivering user-friendly health and safety services to our users.
Providing online health and safety services to businesses across the UK, our core values are transparency, honesty and dedication, to our team, to our clients, and to business. We are committed to creating professional and affordable solutions.
And we're just getting started, continually adding new content and services based on feedback from our customers.
In 2010 the company was formed and we began to develop several web services for the construction industry. Our key services include health and safety training, health and safety documentation and CDM support.
This year saw us launch our documents service, providing instant free and premium downloads of health and safety document templates for our clients.
In 2012 we launched an online vibration management tool with quick access to vibration levels, calculation of exposure allowing action to be taken to comply with HAVS regulations.
Continuing our commitment to online health and safety services, in 2013 we began to develop our health and safety training, focusing on online health and safety courses. We also added over 100 new health and safety documents.
Expanding our existing document template services, we developed HASpod in 2014, initially as a membership site with unlimited access to our health and safety documents, with online management and full branding for members.
In 2015 we launched CDMpod an online CDM support service. With the introduction of the new Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015, our team used their existing knowledge as experienced CDM coordinators, to provide a new support service to help projects comply with the new regulations.
In 2016 we continued to support businesses and projects making the change from CDM 2007 to CDM 2015 compliance. We also continued to add more document templates and training courses and started work on an exciting new online service ready for launch in 2017.
In 2017 we launched HAStalk, which became our Talks Plan membership service, giving users access to daily health and safety toolbox talks, on a growing number of subjects and topics.
In 2018 we re-launched HASpod as the home of all our online health and safety services, giving our users easier access to the health and safety content and services that were previously spread across a number of websites. We also added over a hundred new documents and plenty of new features with the upgrade.
In 2019 we continued to develop HASpod, adding new documents, talks and tools. Behind the scenes, we started working on a big update and some new features for next year. We also created and updated hundreds of guides and articles on our blog.
In 2020 we launched an update which included a new look and new features in documents, training and talks. Say hello to the documents dashboard, autosave, and a training matrix for teams. We also added lots of new content and document templates.
In 2021 we continued to add more health and safety tools, content and templates to HASpod. Behind the scenes, we started working on a new editor and some new features ready for next year.
In 2022 we launched a new document editor, including extra features like checklists and a fresh design. We updated all of our 555+ health and safety templates, and upgraded them to the new format.
This year we launched a new Training Plan, now with editable courses and inductions for your team. As part of the launch we updated all of our courses, and improved results records and certificates.
